New to Wren's Weekly Wag is her doggie travel guides! Our current state of mind is the out of this world, Sedona, Arizona. Sharing all the deets on where to stay, what to do, and eat with your pooch!

We love to travel to Sedona in the Spring and Fall because the weather is the best. But Sedona is known for it's mild climate, so it's great to visit year round!
Where to Stay
We stayed at the fabulous Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock. This hotel is beyond dog friendly... just wait until you see the doggie room service! The location is perfect, the views are amazing, the dining is fabulous, and the rooms are luxurious! There is an in-room kitchenette, fireplace, and...
2 words: Jacuzzi Tub
Wren was greeted with the sweetest doggie welcome bag. It included toys, a bandana, treats, & in-room dog menu service! Let's just say Wren immediately was nose deep in that bag.
Now I've been teasing the pooch-friendly drinkie & nom from Shadow Ruff. Wren and her pawrents were mind blown! Appetizers of red whine & fruit & cheese?! Furry Beer?! & the main courses!! You can drool over the menu here.
Best part, Wren could join us on the pet-friendly patio which had fire pits, food, drinks, & smores for the pawrents & kiddos out there! Other great amenities for pawrents; golf, the spa, & the resort pool!
What to Do
Sedona is known for it's red rocks and it's spiritual energy. It's the ultimate oasis and place to connect with nature. Best dog friendly activities of Sedona:
Hiking - Our favorite app to use is All Trails. Make sure to find the best hike for you & your dog's abilities! Always bring doggie bags, lots of water, and snacks for you & your pup!

Wineries - Arizona is a hidden gem for Wine!
Our favorite winery to visit, just a short drive from Sedona, is the Alcantara Vineyards & Winery. They were so dog-friendly & very generous with the pours. The winery was picturesque and is an amazing place to enjoy an afternoon with some wine & bread.
We also so happened to visit Sedona recently on the best weekend of the year: WineFest. Plan ahead for next years annual Wine Fest, September 26 & 27th, 2020. Wren had such a blast meeting all the talented Winemakers & dancing to the live music whilst enjoying the red rock views!

We tasted & learned about Page Spring Cellars at WineFest. We haven't made it to their location, but it appears they may be dog friendly outside! Worth a call if you are in town.
Off-roading - If you have a vehicle fit for off-roading, take a drive on a trail from All Trails.

Scenery @ the Airport Mesa - Little to no hiking involved. Make it up here for sunset!
Biking - Do you have a doggie tow? Hit the trails with the All Trails app.
Shopping - Many of the stores in downtown were dog-friendly. Take a stroll and shop for local goodies!
Where to Eat & Drink
Places with Dog Friendly Patios & amazing views of the red rocks!
Sedona Beer Company - Great beer for pawrents. You must try the sweet potato waffle fries.
Starbucks - By far the most beautiful Starbucks you will ever go to! Maybe spoil your pup with a puppuccino.
Shadow Ruff - If you're not staying at the Hilton Sedona at Bell Rock, stop by for food, drinks, dog-friendly food, & smores.
Creekside - This restaurant was great because miss Wren could join us - but warning! it was kind of like a dog park. We recommend only taking well behaved dogs here.
Also check out the dog-friendly recommendations from the Hilton at Bell Rock here.
Restaurants for Pawrents only:
Leave your pup in the comfy suite at the hotel to rest from a day of adventures.
The Hudson - The vibe & views here are amazing. Try to make it here when it's still light out. The food was phenomenal too.
Mariposa Latin Inspired Grill - This is a Sedona staple. Make sure to make it here for the views.
Dahl & DiLuca Ristorante Italiano - Amazing classic Italian restaurant. Make sure to save room for dessert.
We hope you enjoy your travels to Sedona, AZ!
