Back to California, Eureka! We took a quick trip to Santa Barbara! We're sharing our favorite #dogfriendly spots! This one will be short and sweet as this wasn't our typical stay due to the restrictions.

We stayed with our friends, so we don't currently have a dog-friendly stay location! But we will be back and will share our recommendation soon!
What to do
Hit the beach, duh! Dog-friendly & off-leash beaches?! Hell yes!
1) Hendry's Beach! My favorite part?! You can grab a to-go drink at the Boat House. Now dogs aren't allowed there, but can I say again TO-GO DRINKS! They also had the cutest little dog waiting station when you run into the restaurant. Now my cali-dogs may be used to this, but this was new for us!

2) Mesa Lane! Beautiful beach. It's honestly incredible! Wren was right back to her beach babe ways!

Hiking/Best places to dog-walk!
Douglas Family Preserve - Beautiful place to walk your dog off-leash! Just be careful when you get to the edge of the cliff.
More to come furfriends! It was a quick social distancing trip, but we will be back!
What to bring
We don't go on a trip or to the beach without a traveling water bottle, our FAVORITE leash, a beach tie up, & a life-vest! The best thing about this leash other than it can alternate between being hands-free and as a regular leash is that it can be "tied up" anywhere securely. Throw it around any pole, fence, orange screw, chair, you name it!

Restaurants were slowly beginning to open when we were visiting. But we did not visit any. However! We hear Santa Barbara may be one of the most dog friendliest places out there! We will be back!
