Wren's back to instagram with a new blog to celebrate her 1st birthday! Sharing all the deets on her wild pawty, where to find the good goods, and details on her dog friendly cake!

We are so excited to be back on instagram and sharing Wren's story on the blog. Wren's one-derful year has been quite the wild one. From traveling coast to coast, to trying everything for the 1st time; Wren's been larger the life.
one human year = 15 dog years?!

According to American Kennel Club, miss Wren is a sassy teenager. & She sure knew how to pawty & eat all the junk food at her one-derful birthday. Wren accomplished more than the average human in her 1 short human year. She travelled to 11 states, hiked tons of mountains, enjoyed many boat dog days, and explored as many doggie parks she could find. Making many one-derful friends along the way.
Where to find the Good Goods
You'll quickly learn that Wren's favorite stores are Homegoods & Mashalls - so of course, we had to find the trendiest dog toys for her birthday. #gofinding for her cheetah tug toy and ice cream cone squeaker!
If you're planning a doggie birthday, you can find Wren's birthday decor for less than $15 bucks here!
All the deets on Wren's Doggie Cake

Wren's birthday cake is 100% homemade with love. Using all organic and wheat free ingredients (minus her yummy treats on top)! Wren's favorite part? The peanut butter & whipped cream :)
Wren & the iLife robot were fighting over who got to beg for the droppings. Find my favorite little helper here.
The recipe I followed:
INGREDIENTS
FOR THE CAKE
3/4 cup coconut flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 large egg
2 tablespoons peanut butter
2 tablespoons oil
1/4 cup applesauce unsweetened
2 tablespoons honey
FOR THE FROSTING
1 cup heavy whipping cream
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 300°F. Line a small round cake pan & spray with nonstick cooking spray. Stir all cake ingredients together. Bake 20-30 minutes, until browned or when a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely before frosting.
To make frosting: beat heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Frost cake as desired.
Happy Birthday to all the pups out there!
